Weaving the Strands: An Oral History Interview Workshop for Secondary Teachers of History, Modern Studies and Social Sciences
Schools in the Highlands and Islands have the wonderful resources of their communities at hand. This workshop will look at how we can enable intergenerational communication – how we can get children speaking to older generations and gathering their stories, and how to weave them into a narrative of place, helping them to understand the lived experience of their communities, past, present and future.
