A great opportunity to meet with some our staff and students creating their own start-ups through support and engagement with the University’s Student Enterprise team. Discover the range of ideas that lead to business outcomes, including:-

    My Academic Family, CIC:

My Academic Family, CIC is a non-profit based in Glasgow that provides free support to first-generation university students. This support includes an online platform with resources and community engagement along with a one-on-one mentorship programme where first-generation students are matched with a volunteer mentor who has successfully completed a degree in the UK. My Academic Family’s goal is to get more students to graduation and is always looking for more mentors and to reach and support additional first-generation university students. You can learn more and register to be part of our academic family at www.myacademicfamily.org.uk

    Beyond Form Creative Writing:

Beyond Form is an alternative to traditional genre conventions and educational institutions. We focus on experimental practices, teaching, events, and publishing so that all writers and their readers are free to express their creativity outside the constraints of literary traditions. We are dedicated to creating an alternative literary space where new voices and new stories can flourish.

    Education Evolved:

Education Evolved is committed to making education accessible and to motivate learners, from university students to lifelong learners, to engage with the world around them. We specialise in bespoke and premade Virtual Reality/360° Educational Experiences and educational video game development. We deliver these programmes through partnerships with institutions through research projects, global education experiences, and short-term virtual study abroad programs. For lifelong learners we offer our Learning Community where our members gain access to monthly educational seminars, VR Educational Experiences, and soon our educational video game library. Events at the fair will include demos of our virtual reality experiences.
