Information
Join us on a walking tour through MUSA’s mediaeval collection, as we look at the exhibits in the way medieval writers did: as things with their own stories and lives rather than as passive inanimate objects. We will explore what exactly it is about a specific thing that attracts our attention, imagine the life stories of items such as the ceremonial maces or the stone used in university examinations, and look at how medieval German writers described similar things.
The tour will take place throughout the evening on a rolling basis, taking visitors in small groups through the exhibition. It can be tailored to visitors of all ages and backgrounds.
