    The Easter Bush Science Outreach Centre is located on the University of Edinburgh’s Easter Bush Campus, in the Centre Building. This is the new building next to The Roslin Institute.

    Event Information

    Do you like doing experiments? Wonder what makes you unique? If so, then come and get hands-on in our brand new lab as part of Explorathon 2018! During this workshop you will extract your own DNA from your cheek cells, bottle it and take it home in a glass pendant. This workshop is a great introduction to DNA and hands-on science.

    It is suitable for all the family, all participants must be +10 years old. You will also get the chance to meet and chat with some scientists from The Roslin Institute.

Join us for an online, socially distanced programme of events from 23rd – 29th November 2020 celebrating research from Scotland as part of European Researchers’ Night.

Take part in debates, listen to presentations, try activities at home and much more besides, as we show that research is for all!
