Explorathon: Travel on Film

Film and Television Studies at the University of Glasgow present aspects of their research related to travel and mobility. Newsreels, clips and short films will play including a screening of The Boy on the Bicycle followed by a panel Q&A session. Explorathon: Café Scientifique – Motorneurone Disease

Join Dr Liz Elliott who will be presenting her research on Motor Neurone Disease (MND), a condition which affects the central nervous system and muscle development. After undertaking research at centres in Newcastle and Edinburgh, Dr Elliott will be discussing her findings about the origins of this condition at a cellular level.
