Culture in Aberdeen is at an important crossroads and there are important challenges ahead.

In this first Café Arts, launched to run alongside the popular Cafe Sci and Cafe Med series, Professor Ele Belfiore, Director of the Interdisciplinary Centre for Cultural Diversity and Social Incusion, will launch a provocative discussion on the future of culture in Aberdeen. In this discussion she will address the importance of collaboration and bringing in previously unheard voices. Discussion will cover issues such as what it takes to co-produce such a vision for the city; how can it then be put in place and what role should the University of Aberdeen contribute?
