The Scottish Household Survey (SHS) provides robust evidence on the composition, characteristics, attitudes and behaviour of households and individuals in Scotland as well as evidence on the physical condition of Scotland’s homes. It plays a critical role in helping Government and other bodies and researchers to plan services and policies for Scotland.
Join University of Aberdeen PhD Student Viktoria Eriksson and Scottish Government Statistician Conor Nangle as they discuss the role of the Scottish Household Survey, the data that is collected and outline the new data explorer which has been developed to make the data accessible to all.
The audience will have the opportunity to use the new data explorer tool in practical exercises, researching various aspects of Scottish households and society. take part in practical exercises using the data explorer tool.
