The StAMP Brass Weekend is for young brass players from Fife and Clackmannanshire who play any brass instrument. Join us in the Laidlaw Music Centre for a weekend of music making with new friends and inspirational musicians. You will play with members of the National Youth Brass Band, The Wallace Collection and Fife Brass Bands. We will perform a live-streamed concert that can be watched by your family and music lovers from all over the world.
The concert is all about Astronomy: we will play music which helps us learn about how light is important to Astronomers and how by analysing light we can understand more about the universe. We will play music written by living Scottish composers, by well known composers of the past, and most importantly, music composed and made by you with the wonderful musicians who will be accompanying you.
