    Event Information

Come and explore your local woods and think like a scientist! Ted has gone for a walk, and we wonder if you can follow his footsteps? With an adult take a walk through these special woods and complete all of the activities for a chance to win a prize! You don’t have to do them all on the same walk…. you can come back another day to complete the rest.  When you have finished you can ask your adult to send your findings to us.

This project has been created in partnership with Edinburgh Napier University, Midlothian Council’s Progress Through Learning programme and Newbattle Abbey College.

The trail is designed for local families walking from the Woodburn, Dalkeith and surrounding area. Please make sure you are following the latest Scottish Government guidelines and restrictions to help keep our community safe. https://www.gov.scot/coronavirus-covid-19/
