Quantum Stories – A Podcast Miniseries

Quantum Stories is a miniseries podcast produced as part of Explorathon 2021 by Dr Callum Duncan. Callum is a postdoc at the University of Strathclyde and spends his workday (mostly) thinking about quantum physics. This miniseries will explore three of the fun stories that make up quantum mechanics. It starts with an origin story on why quantum mechanics even came about. We then discuss the blurry line between a particle and a wave. The miniseries ends with a discussion of some of the oddest aspects of quantum mechanics, where we cover what Einstein meant by “a spooky action at a distance”.
